A sedentary lifestyle is a lifestyle characterized by little or no physical activity, and is associated with several health risks, such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, obesity and other chronic problems.
Sedentary individuals generally spend most of their time sitting or inactive, which may be due to professional occupations, passive leisure (electronic devices, watching television) or lack of motivation to exercise.
What age range could this affect?
Children and Adolescents: can lead to the development of childhood obesity, metabolic problems, low bone density, behavioral problems and socialization difficulties.
Adults: associated with an increase in cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, obesity, some types of cancer, mental health problems and early mortality.
Elderly: reduced mobility, loss of muscle mass and strength, osteoporosis, increased risk of falls and fractures, cognitive deterioration
Combating a sedentary lifestyle involves adopting more active habits, such as regular physical exercise and reducing the time spent in sedentary activities. The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends at least 150 to 300 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity per week for all adults, and an average of 60 minutes of aerobic physical activity per day for children and adolescents.

Planning and Commitment: Establish a specific schedule and exercise plan
Variety and Fun: helps maintain interest and pleasure in exercising
Monitoring: Apps or devices that help you track progress and receive feedback
